SVG experience includes determining, verifying, and analyzing factual matters by the examination of accounting, financial, and operating records; and the interpretation and communications of these financial facts along with calculations and recommendations, in concentration with matters related to business valuations, insurance coverage, economic damages, and related litigation.
Engagements include; business valuations for buying or selling a business, buy/sell agreements, Federal Estate taxation and planning, Family Limited Partnerships (FLP), equitable distribution proceedings (marital dissolution), shareholder disputes, loss of income, fairness opinions, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

- Calculation of quality of life issues, the marital lifestyle relating to marital dissolution, alimony, and child support for various courts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
- Extensive work in the seafood industry, with valuations including; buy or selling of business, Federal Gift and Estate taxation matters, and proposed settlement structures for partnerships division of assets. Valuations include three of the largest clam processors in the Northeastern United States.
- Extensive work in the software development industry, with valuations including; buying or selling of business, employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), initial public offering (IPO) statements, and proposed settlement structures for partnership division of assets.
- Extensive work in providing public company opinions on Over the Counter Bulletin Board / Pink Sheet Company’s regarding restricted stock valuations, fairness opinions, and the reasonableness of forecasted financial statements.
- Extensive work in the insurance and private industry calculating business income (lost profits) losses and economic damages assessments.
- Extensive work in corporate fraud, misappropriation of funds, internal controls lapse, and employee embezzlement.
- Engaged as a qualified appraiser and third party mediator in numerous disputes relating to valuation issues, business income losses, and business economic damage losses.
- Engaged as qualified divorce financial analyst to assist clients in pending divorce matters determine the short and long-term financial impact of settlement options regarding the distribution of assets and income for alimony and/or child support.
- Consulted with other business valuators and Certified Public Accounting Firms in assisting in completing their valuation assignments. Including working as an independent contractor under other firms dealing directly with their clients as lead valuator with total reporting and signing responsibility.
- Analysis and evaluation of opposing experts’ reports and independent expert witness testimony.
- Routinely engaged as a joint expert among parties for various valuation engagements, including; buying or selling a business, buy/sell agreements, and equitable distribution proceedings (marital dissolution).
- Engaged as a qualified appraiser and third party mediator in numerous insurance disputes relating to valuation issues, business income losses, and business economic damage losses.
- Providing expert testimony in various Courts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania relating to assignments including; shareholder disputes, divorce/equitable distribution, business interruption, and economic damage assessments.
